Sometimes you never know where a piece of baklava might take you.

For Good Baklava founder Roy Donk, that journey recently led straight to Madison Square Garden—and eventually to the pages of PEOPLE.

During the Knicks' playoff run, Roy became known around New York as the “Baklava Guy” after handing out Good Baklava to fans outside Knicks games. What started as a fun way to share baklava with fellow fans quickly turned into a viral moment.

And PEOPLE took notice.
