The U.S. native Roy Donk has become a fan of Antep baklava. He has it shipped from Türkiye to his workshop in New York, where he adds the syrup and bakes it before delivering it to Americans in its freshest form.

The 30-year-old Donk has turned Antep baklava into a business opportunity. Speaking to an Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent, he said that when he was unemployed, he saw the baklava section at a pastry shop in Brooklyn and thought, “I can sell baklava too.” This inspired him to make a major change in his life.
